Marty Mosher While he is a little old for planting a church, he makes up for it with his immaturity. Marty is currently Church Starting Strategist for Central Texas with the BGCT.  For 3 of his 4 years in that position he has been bi-vocational as Lead Pastor of The Fellowship at Plum Creek in Kyle, Texas, which he and his wife Lori planted 8 years ago beginning with just the two of them and has grown to 400 in attendance having baptized over 200 people. Just over a year ago he led the church to transition to a new Lead Pastor from the staff and handed off the leadership of the church.  Marty has spent the past 31 years in various ministry positions, 21 of those full –time with occasional bi-vocational stints. Just prior to planting The Fellowship at Plum Creek, he spent 5 years as an Executive/Teaching Pastor of Clearpoint-A Church for Our Community in Pasadena, Texas as the church experienced growth from 390 to 1100 in attendance baptizing over 400 people. With Clearpoint and most recently The Fellowship he has been particularly blessed by God with the experience of leading growth & health in small group based, contemporary churches that reach mostly unchurched people.  In addition to the hands on stuff, he also has consulted with 69 new church starts in the past 4 years. When asked how he knows all this stuff, Marty says “ The same way I knew that the Spurs would win the 2007 NBA championship. The same way I knew that Lori was the girl for me the first time I saw her. The same way I knew that a new church in Kyle would be a success. I just know.” He is truly a legend in his own mind.
